Frequently asked questions
How long does a website take?
Typically 2–6 weeks. The schedule usually depends on how quickly the text and images are ready — the technical build is rarely the bottleneck.
Can I update the content myself?
Yes. You get your own login to the content management system, where you edit text, images and pages in the browser. I walk you through it at handover.
What does running the site cost?
Hosting alone is a few euros a month. A maintenance plan covering updates, backups and small changes starts at €19 a month. Maintenance is optional.
Do I own my site?
You do. The domain is registered in your name, the content is yours and the source code is handed over on request. You are not locked in to me.
What if I want to switch developers later?
The site is built with common open-source tools, so any web developer can pick it up. I hand over credentials and documentation at no extra charge.
Do you build online stores?
Not at the moment. I focus on business websites so I can do them properly. If you need a store, I am happy to point you to a solution that fits.
